Thank you for checking us out! If this is your first time with us, or your first time trying yoga at all, fret not! We have included a guide below to help you figure out the essentials to get started. If you have any other questions, please head over to the 'Help' page to see if we have covered it, otherwise you may also fill in a form through the 'Contact' page.
1. Get Registered!
To book for your classes, you will require an account on our Momence portal. Please click on the button below to get registered, if you do not have an existing account. Once registered and logged in, you will be able to see our weekly schedule!
2. Picking a Class
To find out more about the different types of classes, click on the 'Classes' page. If this is your first time trying out yoga, classes under the 'Beginner Friendly' category will be more suitable for you!
3. what to bring and wear
Choose clothing that are flexible, soft and breathable. The pieces should move with you while keeping you covered. For guys, loose shorts should have inner lining.
Other things to bring:
Water (to keep yourself hydrated!)
A change of clothes (you will get sweaty!)
Yoga towel for hot classes (mats get slippery!)
Yoga mats are provided, but you may also bring your own if you prefer.
A face towel and shower amenities are also provided! Additional towels are available for rent at $1 each.
4. Before the Class
Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before the class time to get registered. Head over to the counter, and our friendly staff will get you sorted out in no time, before showing you around our studio.
If you have any questions or health issues, do let your instructor know before the start of the class, so that he/she will be able to accommodate to your request, and make necessary adjustments to your practice if needed.
Try avoiding a heavy meal 2-3 hours before your first class, as many yoga poses are designed to work both externally and internally. Keep yourself hydrated, and feel free to bring along a bottle of water into the class with you.
Please also have a look at our studio etiquette before coming for your first class!
5. during the class
Our studios provide a space for students to stay focused on their practice and quieten their minds. Mobile phones and other electronic devices that emit sounds are not allowed in the studio. We would also like to encourage all students to keep all conversations to a minimum, to avoid disruptions to other students.
6. a special deal for you!
We understand that trying out a new studio can be intimidating, so here's a special offer for all first-timers! Pick from either of the offers to get started on your journey of practice with us!
