Charis
Charis fell in love with yoga 10 years ago when she was working abroad. She noticed the difference in her mood after her first class and it led her to keep going back to yoga classes.
When she just started her yoga practice, she was having a lot of difficulties in strength related poses. She injured herself frequently when she tried to push herself too hard. Over the years, she understands that everyone has different body types and we should always build our foundation first before rushing into more advanced poses. Therefore, she likes to emphasize on alignment and body awareness in her class.
When Charis is not at work or practising yoga, she likes to indulge in other activities such as spin class, aerial hoop class, cooking, Netflix and watch movies.
